It’s remarkable how much a contrast there can be between how someone looks in pictures, and how they act in real life.
When I was out for this wedding inspiration shoot in Gran Canaria, I got to experience that first hand: the challenge of turning what’s in front of me into the perfect picture that I had visualized. To find the elements that I can control, but more than that to enjoy what it’s like to work with real people and put them in the space that I cannot control.
Here, the success was in letting the wind blow across her hair, finding the light of the sun and being there for the instant when it makes his and her faces glow with the warmth of a thousand summer afternoons.
