They’re from Canada and Austria, met and live in the USA, and came back to his home city to have a proper Salzburg wedding with guests from more than 20 different countries.
With all that going on you might think their wedding would be just as over-the-top, but far from it.
We came together at the castle of Leopoldskron, a quiet jewel just outside of Salzburg that I find great for wedding photography. Even though the castle itself affords a dramatic interior design, they elected to have the actual ceremony outdoors and against the lake. The property’s spacious gardens and lakefront walkway meant I could have the focus on the couple, front and center, and let the surroundings fall off into the background.
