I first met Dana and Arman when I did their engagement photography shoot in Salzburg, and from the very beginning I felt a great connection with them and their unique humor. So when they called me up to shoot their wedding, I knew we could make something amazing.
They met in the USA, while studying law, and since she’s from Germany they knew they wanted to come back to have their wedding in Europe. So what a better place for a destination wedding than Schloss Leopoldskron, just a short distance from where we had their engagement shoot?
With their easygoing style, we were able to just play together. It was clear that they trusted me, and this trust let me stick around in the public and the private moments where I could pick out the little details as well as combine the gorgeous backdrop of the castle architecture with their emotions and style.
I’m happy to say that this shoot was recognized with the Austrian Wedding Award 2016 in the Reportage category.
